Movies by Burswood

iiNet has recently agreed to a sponsorship with Movies by Burswood for the 2003/2004 screening season. In return Movies by Burswood kindly donated 1200 passes to a private movie screening of Pirates of the Caribbean which was held on 12th January 2004.

All proceeds were donated to the Starlight Foundation to help Jessica achieve her dream (see below). The night attracted 800 people, making it the 2nd biggest Movies BY Burswood night in their history!

We also have 200 in season passes to any Movies by Burswood screening which we will be using as competition prizes in the next couple of newsletters.

Starlight Foundation

The Starlight Children's Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to brightening the lives of seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families throughout Australia.

With this in mind iiNet has committed $4000 to help brighten the life of one very special child…Jessica. Jessica aged 5 has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Jessica is Hi-Five's biggest fan! She loves watching Hi-Five videos, listening to Hi-Five music and of course - dancing to Hi-Five. Her favourite Hi-Five'r is Charlie. iiNet raised the $4000 needed to grant Jessica’s wish and early this year this money helped her to visit the Gold Coast with her family, which was not only her first holiday, but also a chance to see a special friend as well!

Kiss My WAMI

The West Australian Music Industry Association (WAM) is a local nonprofit organization whose aim is to promote and support West Australian original music talent.

WAMI sustains a platform for local musicians to be heard and provides music industry related information advice to members of the industry.

We are looking forward to joining them for 2004 as well!

HIA Greensmart Village

iiNet have committed an ADSL Broadband Connection and 4 port router to the HIA Greensmart Village , which opened February 2004 at Springfield Lakes in Brisbane.

Sponsored by Wesley Mission, the three homes comprising the HIA Greensmart Village are some of Australia 's most environmentally and technologically advanced.
