Further information, including a prospectus, is available electronically from:
This move is intended to provide iiNet with the opportunity to expand our range of services and to effectively compete with national service providers. iiNet and Wantree Merger iiNet and Wantree have long been recognised as the industry leaders in Western Australia, and have enjoyed a healthy competitive relationship. On August 16, the two ISPs agreed to merge their operations to ensure that they have the critical size necessary to compete on a national scale. The existing plans and prices for both organisations will be maintained, and clients should see very little change in their access arrangements. In the next few months, the staff of both organisations will be moving to larger premises on level 19 of the QV1 building. This promises to be very interesting times! Important Things to Note Modem Lines -- we are currently in the process of shutting down the analog dialup lines as announced in our last newsletter. If you have not done so already, you will need to move to the 9213 1000 telephone number to dial into the iiNet network. The analog dialup numbers are 9322-xxxx & 9461-4xxx. Regional clients wont be affected, as all regional services currently run on a digital network. If you have problems migrating to the digital lines or you are unsure what number you should be dialling, please contact our support team at support@iinet.net.au or telephone on 9214 2222. Name Change From July 25, we officially changed our name from iiNet Technologies Pty Ltd to become iiNet Limited. This change has no implications on our services and products - it was a necessary change to comply with the statutory regulations required under the Initial Public Offer. Acceptable Use Policy On 29 July the revised Acceptable Use Policy (http://www.iinet.net.au/help/policy.html) was posted to our new Web Site. The Acceptable Use Policy documents acceptable use of iiNet's network. If you have not done so already please take the time to read the Acceptable Use Policy, as it is a legally binding document that governs your use of iiNet's network. iiNet Web Site We are sure most of you have seen our new Web Site by now - it was rolled out on 30 July. Congratulations go out to Kim Davies and the Development Team who put together the new look and feel for our web pages. Also, just a quick reminder that on the iiNet Web Site there are tools for you to use to manage your account under the Members Tools (http://www.iinet.net.au/members/) pages. Using these pages you can check your account usage, change your password, e-mail forwarding as well as a host of other facilities. iiNet Staff We currently have more than 75 staff on board at iiNet and the numbers are rapidly growing to enable us to provide 24-hour telephone support. Your Input If you have any comments or suggestions regarding our services or products please drop us a line at support@iinet.net.au. Thank you for taking the time to read the latest iiNet Newsletter. All the very best regards from the iiNet team - we wish you all well on the Web! Credits
