To add a superior image to your website, you can add a full domain to your account. You can register a domain like discobaby.com.au, or discobaby.com. If you were a WA educational institution you could be discoschool.wa.edu.au (.edu.au domains can not be registered through Connect West). (For information on choosing a domain, visit our domain options guide)

With a full domain, the domain can be your web address (i.e. www.discobaby.com.au), and as with the sub-domain option -- any email sent to that domain will be seamlessly transferred into your normal iiNet mailbox. So email to sales@discobaby.com.au would go to discobaby@iinet.net.au.

If you are re-delegating your domain name to iiNet and wish to have iiNet pay your Domain license renewal, your Domain will need to be registered with one of our chosen Registrars. These are:

Connect West (open .au)
MelbourneIT (gTLD)
DomainZ (.co.nz)

Our Domains staff will be able to assist you in transferring your domain to one of our chosen Registrars. You just need to select this option on your application form. There are no additional charges for making the transfer. Please note that if you do not transfer your domain name to an approved Registrar you are responsible for paying your domain name license renewal to your Registrar of Record.

This price includes:

Domain registration or renewal with Connect West.
Domain hosting services (email, webpages).

This product is available only for .id.au domains.

Standard Domain
$200 setup, $200 annual charge
This price includes:

gTLD Domain name:
(eg: .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz)

Domain registration or renewal with Melbourne IT only.
Domain hosting services (email, webpages).

co.nz Domain Name:

Domain registration or renewal with DomainZ
Domain hosting services (email, webpages).

Other Domain names of type gTLD that are not with Melbourne IT:
(eg: .co.uk, .cc, .tv)

Domain hosting services (email, webpages).
Renewal fees are not included

$99 for net.au, com.au
No email or web hosting. Name secured with Connect West (Domain Registrar) and renewed every 2 years.

^* The break down for pricing of an Au Domain is as follows: $49.50 for registration cost and $155 for hosting per year for .com.au and .net.au domains and $24.50 for registration cost and $175.50 for hosting per year for .org.au and .asn.au domains.
