Window Errors
If you are on a LAN, check with your network administrator if the changes will not cause your network to stop functioning normally. You might need the Windows 95/98 installation CD to proceed with some of the instructions below.

• Error 629: Port disconnected by the remote computer
• Error 630: Port Disconnected Due to Hardware Failure
• Error 645: Internal Authentication Error
• Error 650: Server not Responding
• Error 666: Device not Ready
• Error 678: No Answer
• Error 691: Username - Password Invalid
• Error 731: Protocol Not Configured
• Error 781: The encryption attempt failed because no valid certificate was found
• Dial-Up Networking could not negotiate a compatible set of network protocols.
