Window Errors
Invalid Username/Password - Access Denied

Error 691: The Username-Password Invalid Error mostly occurs when the account username and/or password have been entered incorrectly. Things you should remember:

  • Both username and password are case sensitive
  • Check that your CAPS lock key is off
(Type something in the Notepad to verify that you are typing in lower case)
  • Remember that your username is not username@iinet.net.au, that is your email address, username is one word only

Attempt to retype your unique iiNet username and password and retry your connection

If you have forgotten your password, you can call iiNet Customer Support to have the password checked for you. For security purposes, please be prepared to answer questions about your iiNet account, you might also be called back.
