Disable IPX Header Compression

If you are having problems connecting or get an IPX error, you might need to disable the IPX header compression, here is how:

• Double click the My Computer icon on your Desktop

• Double click Dial-up Networking

• Double click on Network

• In the window under The following network components are installed, highlight Dial-Up Adapter

• Click Properties and select the Advanced tab

• Under Property, select Use IPX header compression
• Under Value, select No
• Click OK and OK again to exit
