Netscape Mail: Server not responding

If your connection to the Internet is working, i.e..: you are connected to the Internet and being able to browse, this error may be caused by incorrect mail server settings. Identify and correct your settings by following the instructions for your email software.

The error can also be the result of incomplete or incorrect settings in your mail server preferences in Netscape, like mail server name, username or password.
