Now that you have changed your password with iiNet, you will need to update some of the applications
on your computer that use your password. You may find the following step-by-step guides helpful.
Step 1 - Change password for your Internet Access
Update the software that you use to connect to iiNet. Start by clicking your operating system or
ADSL modem type:
|
|
Operating Systems: (For dial-up account holders)
ADSL Modems: (For ADSL account holders)
If your modem is not in the above list you may have to check the documentation provided with
the modem for information on how to change the password for its PPPoE client (if built in
client is available). Otherwise, if you use a third party PPPoE client such as RASPPPoE,
please consult the documentation provided with it for directions.
Step 2 - Change password on your Email program
About 2 hours after you change your password our servers will update with your new password. After that,
when you next go to use your email program, it will will ask you for a valid password. When this happens
simply enter your new password.

Step 3
Please remember to update your password yearly - but we do recommend you update it more often.
